Grainne was our tour guide, really knows her stuff, and is able to communicate it most interestingly. She did keep us waiting a bit for the first food, but then OMG, it was so delicious! She structured it as a 3-course meal with appetizer, entree, and dessert. This was so clever. Eat and walk. Alcohol was provided at every one of the 3 food stops. Eat and walk less steadily. When we got the entree, we had a choice of fish or 2 types of meat. These were full servings, so if you go, make sure you're starving!
Grainne is charming and very compassionate to her guests, adjusting the food and beverages to the desires/likes/fussiness (me) of the clients. For example, I love Bailey's Irish Cream, and I got it instead of whiskey for the Irish Coffee. Note that not all foods will be served and might differ from your experience.

This tour is an ABSOLUTE must. It was fun, relaxing, with excellent food selections, and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Gavan O'Conner-Duffy (can you get more Irish than that?) was a wealth of information and offered numerous suggestions and recommendations for the remainder of our Dublin adventure. My daughter Jennifer and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time in Dublin. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Having never tried a food tour before, I'm glad I tried this experience today, and on my first day in Dublin too! Our guide, Gavan, was friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent companion during the 3 hour tour. We went to a different place for each delicious course of a 3 course meal, and enjoyed nice Irish ales, cider, stout and a lovely (DIY!) Irish coffee with them. Gavan regaled us all the way with fun and interesting anecdotes and nice nuggets of history and trivia - big shout of thanks, Gavan! Definitely a highly recommended experience that left us all with nicely full bellies and happy minds.

Our first time in Dublin. It's an amazing food tour and a must do in Dublin! Grona kept our group engaged, stuffed, and laughing while learning about the history of Ireland. She gave us great recommendations and tips outside the tour. We had a great time!

We did this our first day in Dublin. We had delay with our flight and we were able to catch up with the group easily. Great time with our guide and food was very good. We learned so much about Dublin and the food scene, and got some great tips from our guide for places to visit afterwards. I liked that we went to three places for appetizer, meal, and then dessert with drink pairings. It was a lot of food so don't eat anything beforehand. Went with my 18 yo daughter and she loved it too.

We visited in February 2023 and had a great time. Ann was an incredible tour guide with lots of recommendations, and showed us new parts of the city that we had not seen before. The food and drink was also delicious.

Grona, was the most amazing guide. Her knowledge and passion incredible, full of fun, full of facts and worked hard to involve the entire group of 13. Fantastic tour very very recommended not only a great way to explore Dublin really helps you to plan the rest of your visit with the best food and drinking establishments - do the tour on the first day of your visit - a must so brilliant

I have done many food tours in many cities around the world. This was by far my favorite. Engaging, interesting, funny and great food and drink. A perfect mix of Irish history and culture. The best food tour ever!

I am not sure what the cost is for a child or if there is an age cut off. You may want to check with the company . There were only adults on our walking tour as alcohol us also a part of it.

We have one person in our group who may be in a wheel chair if there is a lot of walking. Would this be a problem. And how far ahead should we book this? We arrive on October 1=thanks

I think you would be fine to book two to three weeks in advance. If they were aware of the wheelchair in advance, I'm sure they could customize the stops to accommodate.

As long as this person isn't bothered by anyone else's food, they will be able to enjoy the tour. Not sure if we even had shellfish, but guide is very aware of and accomodating to any allergy. Great tour.

In total, I feel like it was a few miles. It was hard to tell, because of the stops make for food. All the stops seemed nicely spaced out, so it did not seem like you walked for a very long time for any one stop.

We are coming to Dublin with a group of bakers from belgium. We are with 16persons on tuesday 12 march. Our day is already filled but we were looking for something exciting to do in the evening. Is it possible that you work something out for us? For example: a food tour that includes 6-8 stops in witch we can enjoy some local dishes and desserts. Normally we would like to start at 18:00.And we would like to finish in a bar or pub where we can dance and drink until the late hours.
Do you think this is best by bike, or by bus or that we walk through the city?
We stay at Arlington o conel bridge.

Yes I believe there were options. We had no vegetarians on our tour but the guide did make exceptions for this with different food preferences.
