We really loved this state park, has something for everyone... beautiful views of Indian River with the inlet bridge in the distance, a fishing pier, boat ramp, picnic areas, playgrounds, and extensive walking trails. Well worth the visit

We enjoy going here periodically. It is wheelchair accessible. There is a toilet house that generally is clean. There is areas for a picnic and boat ramp. There is a fee to enter park.

The new boat launch is very nice and the approach lanes simple to navigate even with a large pontoon. Be advised there is an 8 inch high concrete step across the end of the east side launch. (not sure about the west side one) If you back your trailer too far and it goes over this step you will get stuck. After launching your boat and ready to go up the ramp you will not move. Watched a guy destroy a trailer there after launching. Ripped the axle off the trailer after over powering. Before launching get wet, walk down the ramp and feel with your feet until you find this little surprise. The only warning is a sign that says "End of Ramp". it should say "Danger trailer destroying step at end of ramp".

We love this little park with the pier of gorgeous views.

There is a charge. Out of state is $10. Residents is cheaper.

There is bathrooms on premises but I did not go inside to inspect.

$4.00 admission in season seems too pricey for a small area for loads of people if not using a water craft. Great view. Nice boardwalk to crab and fish with a valid fishing license. Nice pavilion and grills. Nice trails and camp sites.

I get an annual DE parks pass and launch my boat from here about 50 times a year. The launch is deep and I can put in my 18 foot boat by myself even at low tide. My only big complaint is relative to some of the ignorant people who frequent the launch. People actually think its a good idea to have their little kids hand crabbing on the active launch when boats are being backed in and out. Not only is that dangerous, it is down right ignorant. It has a hard stand restroom and they put a job johnny by the boat launch in the summer.

This place advertises that this is the only pier built specifically for crabbing in the state. That's great and all but unfortunately it is not the most conducive for a successful crabbing outing. The pier is in a great location but there is railing all the way around it and it is too high to actually be able to get your crab from the water into a net. You can't even reach the water without going through the railing especially at low tide. The railing is a little shorter at the ends but only by about 6 inches. I will say that the crabs we caught here were quite large, some of the biggest ones I've caught.

The park has a nice boat launch and parking area separate from the other other parking lot. There is a nice picnic area with tables, a structure and nice above ground fire ring. The state park is quite small but it does have three primitive campsites just outside the main entrance. They are open seasonally and offer no amenities other than a wooded place to rest your head. We didn't camp here but did take a look at the sites for future reference.
