We had excellent time with Edwin, he was very patient with us, showed us many interesting new things, birds, plants, sites, giant tree, hundreds of hummingbirds and many other things. We were really happy with the day spend with him.

Spur of the moment birding was awesome

I was in Cusco with an extra free day and sent an email the day before to see if there was an opportunity to do some birding in the area. Luis got right back to me and we arranged a day tour of Lake Huarcapay and the Sacred Valley. The trip, even though there was rain, was awesome. He picked me up from the hotel, we visited several areas, he took care of lunch and really knew where to go and what to see. Awesome trip. I will definitely travel with them again.

This three day safari was wonderful. It's a long coach ride into Manu Park, but the scenery is beautiful and the guides stop whenever there are birds or other animals to spot.
Our guide, Juan, was very knowledgeable and was keen to share his passion for the natural world. His enthusiasm was infectious and the fact he clearly loved his job so dearly made it nothing but a joy for us.
The accommodation is comfortable and the food was great.

We saw lots of monkeys and birds. Spiders and bats in the cave and on the way back went to a hummingbird sanctuary, which blew my mind. These creatures are just magical.

We met a group that did the 5 day tour, which we didn't have time to do, but it sounded like they had a very adventurous trip indeed. Worth considering if you have the time to do so.

The best birding experience for me so far.. its so intense i had to walk from 5am to 8pm

Guadalupe lodge/ @reserva ecologica guadalope is a fantastic place with it’s variety of habitats (bamboo,riparian,foothills,terra firme,river island,river,primary and secundary forest,wetland,clearings,palm)
Great food and excellent guide.

Lovely bonus birding along the way of Manu Road from polylepis,elfin,cloud forest to lowland

Mil gracias a Luis Hebert Zuñiga for bags of lifers so i can pass 1020ish species.. still counting and reviewing*

As for other animals, I saw a lot of butterflies, monkeys, and plants ..

Incredible time spent in the Peruvian Amazon

Myself and my partner went on the 4 day Tambopata tour from Puerto Maldonado and had the most amazing time! The staff from Wild Watch Peru were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour is well worth doing, I only wish we could have stayed longer. Our stay in the rainforest was unforgettable. Everything from the wildlife to the accomodation to the hospitality and expertise of the staff was very impressive. We felt at home in the lodge and were treated very very well. We saw a great variety of wildlife including monkeys, macaws, toucans, butterflies, hummingbirds, caimans and capybaras to name a few. We were able to see so many animals in large part due to the skill of our guide Jorge in spotting (and sometimes just by hearing) the animals.

Amazing 3 days

Seeing monkeys in the wild for the first time was incredible.
Easu and Luis were our guides, very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and animals. The drivers were very experienced and safe. Stopped at site of Inka funeral towers, and beautiful town of Paucartambo. Day 2 , riverboat ride, jungle walk, and raft trip looking for cayman, but they were hiding. Saw beautiful birds, ants and ant holes turmite nests. The Hummingbird sanctuary was beautiful, and unexpectedly there was a snake under the decking. Sunset by river with beautiful birds. Luis' bird and monkey imitations were phenomenal. Day 3, easily walk up river to caves, bats and huge spiders.
Guadeloupe Lodge was very comfortable, the cooks prepared excellent food and Manuel also helped to make our stay enjoyable. Our son was on crutches and Luis was very thoughtful, adapting the itinerary slightly so he could join in.
We were very pleased to support Wildwatchperu in their ethical environmental work and strongly recommend them. Thank you to you all for a trip of a life time.

Manu reserved zone 5 day tour

An amazing 5 days in the Manu National Park reserved zone, guided by Esau. He spotted so many animals- birds, giant otters, caiman, capybara, snakes, spiders etc. We felt that we were accompanying Esau on his own expedition as he seemed so excited to be there. Definitely go for the longer tour into the reserved zone if you can, to make the most of the lengthy journey.

My husband and I booked the 2 day Manu National Park to start our Peru trip. It was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Edwin, was very knowledgeable and could tell he loves his job. He knew where to look for all the jungle birds and monkeys! We we so lucky and we're able to see 3 species of monkeys! Edwin also taught us a lot about the trees, plants, and the many agriculture that is grown along the reserve. Our drivers and supporting staff throughout our two days were exceptional! One of the highlights was a nice dip in the river after a long day . Although our visit to the jungle was short, it was perfect for the short amount of time we had in Peru! Muchas gracias !

Once in a life time birding experience

I did a custom birding tour with Herbert as my guide and it was incredible. He was so knowledgeable and knew all of the hotspots! The service, organization and communication in setting up and planning the trip was also seamless and I would highly recommend for all of your birding needs when in Peru!

6-day Manu Reserved zone with amazing guide Esau.

We did the 6-day Manu Reserved Zone tour. This experience was seriously 10/10. Our guide, Esau, was simply incredible. His English was perfect and he grew up in Manu so I think he knows literally every single animal, tree and sound in the jungle! I have no idea how he spotted some of the wildlife. We saw so much wildlife (see pics) thanks to Esau’s expert knowledge. It is quite a long journey to get deep into Manu (bus and then boat) but definitely worth getting to the reserved zone. A special mention to the food on the trip too - so good! We never went hungry and the quality was amazing considering the remoteness. There was always snacks too. I would highly recommend this as well as Esau as a guide.
