The spa itself looked nice from the photos, so attempted to book a couples massage, there was miscommunication due to language barrier, however using google translate was somewhat helpful but not entirely. The massage that I booked was not taken into consideration even after calling the spa, called to verify with front desk who said that there was not an appointment for us. Reattempted to book for the following day, had an early opening which we gladly accepted due to all the extensive walking around the city. We get to the spa, and it’s freezing cold possibly due to keeping clients from falling asleep during a massage, we get to the room and it’s two massage tables with the barrier sheet not even fully covering the table leaving my flesh touching a cold massage table and the face rest being just a cut out piece of foam with a hand towel draped around it. During the massage the oil or lubricant used was cold, there was no friction used to warm it up, I literally felt like a hot french fry being dipped in cold ranch dressing. Freezing cold spa, freezing cold massage oil. The massage was forgettable, the masseuse was pleasant but was not impressed with the massage, the best part about it was being stretched. Other than that the experience was unremarkable.
