Pith cancelled the retreat in Ireland last year. He promised to return my deposit but I still have not received it. Are Shamballa Retreats a scam?

I attended a retreat with Pitt around 8 years ago.. I went with no real intention even if I thought I did at the time. I just wanted help but didn't even know what with. A bout of depression along with continuous very tiring inward battles and addiction lead me to ayahuasca and ultimately to Pitt. (With a little help from a friend) I got off the plane in palma an extremely anxious/gaurded/slightly paranoid individual on a mission of hope.
The ceremonies I sat with Pitt changed my life.
He helped provide answers to questions I didn't even know to ask.
The music Pitt played himself with various instruments was something i had never or have never experienced before.. it was just beautiful and acted as a backbone of the journey for many parts. Instruments down now... Time to spice things up! 5d machine on.. mental torture, excruciating noise at a weird frequency for a little while. Personally I was basically banging my head off the floor.. then in plays island - 'all you ever needed was love' wow. Just wow. That moment. The most important moment in my life.
For the first time ever I believed everything was alright. I was sound. Mother ayahuasca cradled me in her palm and said don't you worry yaself too much sunshine ya in good hands.
Pitt did that.
To this day I still picture his hand on my chest on the way into the yurt the night of the last ceremony when he said 'be brave' with a subtle smile of confidence as if he knew I was ready For it.
Breaks my heart to hear of the unfortunate run of events that has lead to the couple of negative reviews towards shamballa. I would urge anyone who is seeking real healing and for a truly amazing shaman to go and sit with Pitt.

My experience in sacred ceremony with Pitt was beautiful. To be 'held' by this wisdom keeper is something I will remember forever. He just 'knows' what everyone needs and even though you are sitting with a group of people, your journey is very much your own. If you hear the calling please answer it you won't regret it. Aho

I have sat with Pitt in 5 ceremonies and it was a blessing!! One of those were really dark for me and Pitt made sure that I walked out of it not going crazy but rather more powerful. I will never forget how easily he could calm me down, sometimes with just his look. If you are looking someone to whom you can trust, who is genuine, intuitive and loving, it si Pitt. He plays so many instruments that you might be surprised. Open your Heart, Open your Mind, Beeee freeeee :) Aho 🙏

My first Ayahuasca retreat was with Pitt in 2018 & my second was in 2020.
Always felt guided, safe & loved in his circle.
His talent with his icaros & all the instruments he plays are beautiful.
Changed my life!
Peru awaits me & it will be Pitt & Ginatre that I got to at Shambala.
Would recommend 💚

I will always, always come back to Pitt, (and the goddess that is Gintare!). You will be in the best hands...Having over the years sat dozens of nights in circle with Pitt, and also with other shamans, it is truly in Pitt and Gintares company that the extraordinary and profound occurs.
The first time I sat with Ayahuasca was with Pitt, and the most recent time this spring/summer 2023, I can truly say his intuition, knowledge and care in and out of circle is beyond words, and my life has opened up immeasurably since starting this journey. Gintare and Pitt together are an exquisite force of nature, the epitome of love, and hold space in perfect balance.
The musical side is simply something that must be experienced.
If you are thinking about a retreat, or if it is your first time with plant medicine, then there is no one that I would more highly recommend. I mean that, I wouldn't trust anyone more! Get in touch and I promise, you will learn more about yourself and others than you ever have, and from that you will feel like your life has just begun! Love to all x

I came across these reviews after looking for retreats in Cusco area of Peru. I was surprised by the first two reviews. I have sat with the Shaman many many times and can only sing his praises. Pitt is genuine and you find yourself in an environment where you and your healing are placed at the centre of your experience.
Shambhalla is not a scam and has a long history of helping many souls. I would urge those that may be put off by the first two reviews... to contact Pitt (the Shaman) and Im sure he will put your doubts to rest. These people would not intentionally scam anyone. It is not that I disbelieve the negative reviews... or take such loss of money lightly... but I cannot categorically say Shambhalla might of had a glitch but at the core you will find authenticity.

Careful!
I did a lot of research and decided to book with them due to all those good reviews. Unfortunately the retreat was cancelled on their end and they did not refund the money that has already been paid.
They have sent a lengthy & dubious email explaining that they are several throusands in debt and the wife is sick - apparently that would justify why they would not return our money but keep it for themselves instead.
I can only strongly encourage anyone to book somewhere else.
This is simply not with whom you want this experience with. It is a sacred and special prayer and I am questioning how well they hold the space and care if on the other hand they cancel retreats and steal money.

DONT BOOK WITH THEM! They cancelled the retreat that I booked six months in advance. They won’t refund my deposit. And worst. of all when I looked up their website over a month after they said this retreat had to be cancellled they are still offering places for sale for this exact same retreat! This is robbery, pure and simple.
