Nice place for dinner. The food was good and the price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and professional. The best part is the view of the bay. It is awesome you can walk around after dinner relax and take in the fresh air.

Karaoke was on our mind for the night. Had a good set up and people got into it. Smoking allowed just an aside. Cheap drinks and friendly bartender. Trivia and some bars games made it fun.

We were looking for somewhere to do karaoke on a Saturday night. We found it! Smokey as all get out but a lively crowd. Everyone was having a blast and the drinks were cheap! Bartender had a great sense of humor.

We like to stop in at bars like this. As an old biker dude, you just never know what you will run into. This was lunchtime. We were treated very friendly when we entered and the beer was lovely and cold. The bar had the usual guys at the bar, for whom this pub is their regular. No problems.
Waitress told us, they had just started home made shepherds pie and chicken pot pie. Well, we couldn’t have asked for better! The nice lady who actually made them, came out, to see how they were. That was appreciated.
We had 1 draft, 3 diet cokes, two pies (about 6”) all for $21.60! Great job Castaways! We will be back.

Amanda w, and her brother Jc Carr are a couple of nut jobs, who brandished a firearm in our bar, and then have the nerve to write negative reviews ? Should have had them both arrested, so they could complain from jail, and yes they are permanently barred from castaways!

Grave incidente de seguridad

I was in this establishment last night on August 17th. Honestly, I have never seen such a horrible display disrespect from an owner of a place. First, when I went to grab a bud light some lady put her arm around me twice making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I should have left at this time but I guess I stayed because I assumed that would be all. My brother and I sat down and I ordered some food from their menu. All of sudden, a bar fight happened and some guy went outside with a glass mug. The bartender went to the door with a stick and my brother saw and did not want her to get hurt so told her to stay inside. He went outside to deescalate the situation. He tried to come back in and wound up that he was kicked out and then when I went outside to find out what was happening the owner then told me that I was committing a felony and that I needed to leave and never come back. Apparently the guy who started the bar fight and was throwing bottles outside tried to throw a bottle at my brother and when my brother decided to defend himself the owner stated that he could shoot him (my brother) I was inside eating and when I came out I was threatened by the owner. He told me I needed to leave and I wasn't even outside, didn't even give a crap that I could have been drunk. Luckily I only had one beer over the course of an hour so I was okay to drive. The young girls at the bar were very personable but honestly this whole situation shows that the clientele is criminalistic and that the bar owner allows people who start bar fights to rule the bar. This has to be the most sketchy bar I have ever encountered. I do not appreciate being threatened and yelled at when I was not even outside during this whole ordeal. I will never go back here solely based on the fact that this place has to be the thrashiest place I have ever stepped foot in. Also the young bartenders behind the bar deserve to be in treated with more respect and class not have all these low life clients staring at them like they have never seen a woman before. This owner lacks customer service skills and has to be the most disrespectful piece of work I ever met. I have never been treated that way at any establishment. Go to Kelly's down the road a much classier establishment.

This was the first time we've been in since new owners. I had a Cheese Burger,was one of the freshest burger I've gotten out in long time.The sever was wonderful.Keep up the fresh food and you're be just as good as last owners,can't wait until you hire some awesome country bands

It looks like a bar sitting on the highway, but inside are friendly people, trivia and poker on wireless screens and really good food. You can smoke here, but we did not notice with the smoke eaters.

Complimentary popcorn. Good cheap drinks. FRIED CHICKEN LIVERS/GIZZARDS are heavenly! Friendly attentive staff. Clean and attractive. Allows Cigar Smoking! Love it, one of my true "Happy Places".

I went for the Wednesday special 10 wings for $5.00, I got there before 9 Pm and was told I might not be able to get the wings because the kitchen is closed, now this bar is open till 2 AM why would the kitchen close before 9, they did make the wings and they were not the greatest, the bar tender was nice but she was on the phone more times then behind the bar, I saw people leaving because no one was tending bar, I was a regular there years ago and moved away this place was always packed I just moved back into town and the place was dead maybe they need to place more on the bar tender and the kitchen staff and make sure they do there jobs.
