I gave this review a 2 only because there was a variety of animals; otherwise it deserves a 1. My biggest complaint is that there was no one around to tell our kids anything about the animals and there weren't even signs on most to give you some information. So, you walk up to the camel and say to your grandkids, "That is a camel. I think that clump hanging off him is shedding of his winter coat. No, I don't know his name, No, I don't know anything about camels or anything specific about this one." It was pretty expensive for a very minimal experience.

One of the best parts of our trip to Florida! Friendly staff and animals kept in good conditions. Loved the goats!!!!!!!!

The cow looked horrendous and the pig tried to bite one of us. There was a near dead chick laying on the ground. The facility is run down and definitely overpriced :(

Come out and volunteer. The zoo takes in unwanted, abused, sick, and injured animals in the hopes of restoring them to health.

A truly hands on zoo. You can purchase food and feed the animals all while being in the great outdoors. My husband and I enjoyed interacting with the animals. We will definitely be back.

Animal lovers BEWARE! Serious animal neglect and terrible living conditions. Very disgusted by the conditions of the animals and their enclosures. Not sure how there is positive reviews on this place. Really should be shut down.

If you are an animal lover this is not the place for you. Yes you do get to see animals you would otherwise never have the pleasure of seeing but at what cost. The hooved animals are in need of trimmings, the miniature horse is barely able to walk around with its severely over grown hooves. Birds are missing feathers due to stress. Squirrel monkey looks like he has a severe case of mange. All of the animals you are allowed to feed act like they have never seen food in their life.

This petting zoo is a nice place for the kids, it is calm and very well kept. Animals look happy and are good to people. Our kids had a great time petting and feeding the animals. I only wish it were closer to our town as we would visit often.

This petting zoo was so much bigger than I expected. You can pet and love on most of the animals. There are a few that you are not allowed to pet and feed. My sister and I shared the large bag of feed and it lasted the whole time we were there. We were able to feed every animal with it. The petting zoo was clean and maintained, although the only person working there that day was the guy at the ticket counter. There were some animals that had signs saying "I bite" so you can feed and pet them at your own risk. We had so much fun interacting with all of the animals. If I lived in Ocala, I would be here all the time.
