Love love visiting the animals and seeing all the many different ones. Can’t wait to go again. They care for injured animals and that’s the most kindest thing

A Free outing for families…Noah’s Ark is a wildlife sanctuary where they take in abandoned and overgrown wildlife pets, animals……they accept donations as a fee is not required to visit. They have picnic tables, restrooms, gift shop.

We really enjoyed seeing all of the different animals while walking the pathways. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The staff and the volunteers was friendly. There is a pretty cool area away from the animals where you can have a small picnic and enjoy the scenery.

The rehabilitation center is a registered non profit and does wonderful things for animals, I’m sure. The exhibits are kinda hard to see and some are empty but it’s worth it to support the center!

The children enjoyed the interaction with the animals. The facility and animals looked like it could use some assistance.

Was in town for another obligation and spotted this attraction on trip advisor. Its about a mile long walk through of animals who are special needs, relocated, or retired. Well kept, friendly staff, free attraction. Clean restrooms and welcome center. Kids enjoyed playground area.
Great stop to spend a hour or 2. Not a good place to be if rain blows through or its extremely hot. No option to drive through but lota of benches to take a break along the trails.
We especially enjoyed the story of the lion tiger & bear. We would have appreciated and donated for an encounter or hands on photo opportunity. Great stop. Would visit again if in the area.

We drove 4.5 hours round trip to visit and it was well worth the drive! They have a lot of animals and were all well taken care of and they all had nice areas. We were there 2.5 hours and would have stayed longer but showed they closed at 3. If you get a chance stop by to visit, you won't regret it. Hopefully we can go back and visit again sometime.

Visited the sanctuary from a Groupon coupon. Did the WOW tour which gets you closer to the animals. Patty was a great guide, very informative!! Got to see Bengal Tiger, cougar, monkeys, bears, etc. very cool. Looks like they have a great life at the sanctuary. Highly recommend to go and visit- do the WOW tour!

How much does it cost to get in

It's free, but donations are truly appreciated and worth it.
Does the store take card or is it cash only? Is there an ATM available?

I am not sure. I always pay cash. I don’t recall there being anything to buy per se, just the ability to leave a donation.
Am I viewing the animals from a distance or I'll be touching them? Are they tamed?

You are not touching the animals. They are wild. What zoo have you ever gone to that allows you to touch the animals?
Do you do squirrel rehab?

I was a visitor there I do not work there. I didn't see any squirrels there but then again they may have those animals behind the scenes being rehabbed. You can ask them on their Facebook page and they generally answer.
Is it free?

There is not an admission fee. But they do appreciate donations and/or purchasing from their gift shop, which will also help their cause.
What days can u do community service?

It really varies. The best thing to do is contact them via their FaceBook page. They will get back to you on opportunities. They have several scheduled events each year, but if you have a group that wants to help, they will often make arrangements.
Will you see a lot of animals when it's colder outside?

Yes, the weather in Georgia is not as cold as the north so anytime is a good time to visit. The mammals have thick coats of hair, so a little cold isn't bad. Dress warm yourself as the compound is wide open.Very enjoyable especially for the younguns.
