Great place to walk/hike with dogs and kids! Wide open views of the estuary and the beach. Several trails to choose from.

The complete trail is figure 8 shaped and covers approximately 4 miles. There are 2 loops - the Kinnikinnick Loop and the Estuary View Loop. We only covered the Kinnikinnick loop and had lovely views. We also quickly reached the beach, which was nice. We spent almost 2 hours for a nice leisurely hike and to take photos. Another bonus - restrooms!

this was a nice little hike. Doesn't look like anything from the road but the parking lot leads to a flat trail in between marsh and estuary, with lots of bird life; there are two loops to choose from at the end of this trail, although one is partially closed; total 1-2 miles of easy hiking, with beach access if desired.

This is a short trip north on the three cape loop just north of Pacific City. It’s quiet and peaceful and very well worth the exploration. I always love the off the beaten paths.

This area was just recently opened. Offers some nice views of the estuary the dune woods and the beach. Also offers wildlife natural nesting areas. These areas that are off limits on a seasonal basis are well marked

Biggest complaint is the signage for the the "people" trails. While areas that are off limits are clearly marked, any other signage is poor to non-existant. Very difficult to get lost and heading off on the wrong trail. Cell coverage is also poor, so don't count on that to help you find out where you are on the trail system.

Wow! What a great place to enjoy the wetlands. We saw open water, tidal flats, saltwater marshes, forest wetlands and sand.

The hike was 3.5 miles.

What a nice hike!

Worthwhile to see!
