Great venue, parking? Hershey can do better!
nov. de 2021 • Pareja
We went to a Bears game with friends. It’s a great venue for a hockey game…easy to move around, find your seats, lighting, etc. My biggest complaint is Hershey parking fees, they’re ridiculous!!! $20 to park?!?!? We already paid for tickets, come on!

Hershey 2021 RV Show Dissapointing
set. de 2021
We retired and planned to purchase at the Hershey 2021 RV Show but the experience was less satisfying than in prior years. The show was disorganized starting with a 45-minute line that looped over itself with no guards at the cross point so some people cut the line. About 1% of the visitors, and fewer of the Hershey staff and sales staff were masked. The show itself was disorganized. Many staff had no idea where various RVs were located. Montana and Airstream are examples of lines we spent an hour searching by direction of staff only to discover through 1 knowledgeable staffer that neither brand attended the show. We looked at Class C, trailer and 5th Wheels. The build quality of all of these was lower than in previous years. In earlier years sales people were hawking their superior build quality such as dovetail and screwed drawers, and insulation techniques. This year all the drawers were cheaply stapled together, no mention of insulation techniques was made and the sales people were only pointing at signs that they had no hidden fees. The discounts we small, some as low as 8% with peaks in the low 20%’s. We saw far fewer contracts being written and sold signs on RVs. We found 1 5th wheel we like but without being able to compare it to the Montana/Northwood Fox/Keystone Springfield line were unable to decide to buy. Now we will need to look for dealers that sell these compare them and then decide if the 5th wheel at the show was for us.

Concert rescheduled for the next yr. then for the next month! Couldn’t go on these dates. NO refund! We picked 1st date NOT a yr out!! What if new day was a very special occasion? Not our fault. We lost over $1,200 !!!! Crap policy! Never use vivid seats, Ticketmaster or Giant Center again.
Vivid seats has a class action against them at this time! $400 ea x3. This could pay my bills!!

Home of the Hershey Bears ice hockey team
may. de 2021
As it is located next to Hersheypark, it costs $20 to park for any of the venues with the common parking lot (Giant Center, Hersheypark, Hershey Park Arena, and the stadium). After paying for parking keep to the right and watch for the overhead signs indicating where to turn for Giant Center which is the first venue on the circular route into the parking. I had a ticket issue and went to the box office. It is closed on weekends (in spite of the Saturday game) and I had to get assistance elsewhere. Once I found someone to help, he was very helpful and corrected my issue. There is security screening to enter. The concourse was more than adequate for the small crowd at this game. There are many concession stands and a team store (near the main entrance). Seating is plastic theater style. There is a large score/message board over center ice. Sight lines were good and the public address system was good. COVID-19: Some employees were masked and some were not. There seemed to be no mask enforcement among the visitors. The tickets were sold in a way to promote social distancing, but there was little else to suggest any concern about it.

Disney on Ice at Giant Center
dic. de 2020
Disney on Ice, originally Walt Disney's World on Ice, is a series of touring ice shows produced by Feld Entertainment's Ice Follies And Holiday on Ice, Inc. under agreement with The Walt Disney Company. Aimed primarily at children, the shows feature figure skaters portraying the roles of Disney characters in performances derived from various Disney films. Feld Entertainment licensed the rights to Disney material for ice shows and includes shared merchandising revenue between Disney and Ice Follies.

Limited capacity Bears Review
mar. de 2021
Mask were required unless eating or drinking..I went to two games in March with the limited capacity- one star off for the fact I had to pay $40 in fees to Ticketmaster for the 4 seats as the Bears refused to do in person or phone sales- However parking was free so I guess you can say I saved $20 on that. But still.. Anyway as for the game you could only get as close as 10 rows back- fine still great views. One thing I love in general is because of Hershey’s location you get fans from 3 different NHL teams there- Flyers(My team!!) Caps(Bears affiliate and 2 hours away) and gasp the Penguins because there in PA. My point is it’s safe the wear a Flyers or in my case Phantoms sweater! I didn’t get food as I knew beforehand options would be limited to like 2 stands thanks to Wolf so I planned ahead. I would recommend doing so yourself- Bears Den or Aarogas are 2 excellent local sports choices. As for seats- I was lower so fine and comfy in general, especially with only 2 other people in the row! Was nice to put my coat on the unoccupied seat 😎it’s a well known fact upper seats are smaller so avoid or get aisle if possible. That said AHL play was amazing despite my Phantoms not showing up. You can’t beat the level of play and value of ticket even with the Ticketmaster fees. The seat I had around 10 rows back would likely be $150 at the flyers or pens so you can go to 5 AHL games For that price and see similar or better hockey! Views are great at Giant Center! One thing to note, although they are strict on the mask in general ,also you had to do a quick covid screener and temp check- and I completely understand why I asked if I could remove for a quick picture as really there’s no difference between removing for that and eating and they let me. So I was able to get my” back to hockey” picture. Just ask the guard if you want to so they know and don’t think your removing in general. Concourse was easily wide enough to space 1000 fans except in one corner where stand was you had to walk through people in line for food but no big deal in general Also one neat thing of note- my son was able to get a shoot around puck during the game- they were stuck in the net and fell into the stands. We asked a photographer who brought it up to us. So you might get a puck if your lucky 😎 Overall Giant Center was as clean as always and staff was super friendly ushers very polite. I recommend going but rooting for the Phantoms if they’re playing 😜

Bears vs Wilkes Barre

Nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Good drink selection but the lines were ridiculous. In fact, we wanted to grab food for dinner here but opted to leave early and eat elsewhere to avoid the long lines.

easy parking, nice venue. The lines may be a bit long getting out but they tend to move pretty fast. Just plan to relax a little and visit on the way out

This is the second time I have been to this area. My wife and I commented on how clean this facility is. The parking isn't too bad ($10) and the staff was great. We will be back again to see another game.
