Went over to the holiday celebration on Canada Day, and the activities provided by the Museum were fabulous, and engaged many young children. Haven't toured the actual museum in several years, but much enjoyed at the time. Heard that there are many new features that are must-see.

After our visit to the Horseless Carriage Museum we popped in here. It is nicely laid out and shows the town history with historic room displays. We found this interesting and would recommend it to those who like to experience the social history of an Ontario country town

Our family stopped by here looking for something to do on a rainy day. We were surprised to find that they had a mini-children’s festival happening. The rain stopped for a while, and we enjoyed a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and snacks. Our kids (5 and 7) played for over 3 hours!!

Was a unique museum with many muliptle rooms to expore. If your into history and artifacts you'll enjoy. An incredable garden out back to see by local horticultrual society I beleive done in raised garden bozes. Admission is by donation.

I thought this would be a small museum that I could quickly go through while I left my husband in the car. I was wrong. Lots of different rooms, some with exhibits and some setup to depict the history of the house.
Lovely area outside to sit and watch the boats go through the locks. Great play room for children with different activities.
I am glad It was open when I found this museum, so I could enjoy soaking in some of the local history.

This museum in an old manor just seems to go on and on. Lots of hidden little rooms. We were visiting on a day road trip and just happened upon this museum as we walked along the lock. It was a step back in time. Also room for kids activities. Free admission and worth the stop.

Always a hoot to spend time at a local museum. Fenelon Falls has a long and interesting history. The staff made sure we had a good tour. The City of Fenelon Falls is truly an interesting Place

Spent a very pleasant time here. Lots of local history and exhibits, and lots of wandering in nooks and crannies. Only downside is that I couldn't figure out how I was going to sneak out with that genuine birchbark canoe. Need bigger pants...

Tucked away at the end of the street is a historic house jam packed with so many interesting pieces and artifacts it's almost overwhelming.
I can't say enough about this little gem. We highly recommend it to any history buff.

Enjoyed afternoon tea on the gallery and really enjoyed the piano playing which we found out later, when we actually started our tour of the numerous rooms and exhibits, was done by an elderly lady. The music seemed to follow us throughout the building. the building when viewed from the outside is misleading and when we finished our tour we agreed that it was quite amazing as to the use of the space inside and the number of exhibits.

wondering your open hours. May be coming to Fenelon falls next weekend from Friday noon until sunday noon... also admission fee?

It is now closed for the season. It is open from around Victoria day weekend until Thanksgiving.
Admission is an optional donation.
