Our stay at Jo's Dreamings B&B was so comfortable it was like being at home.
Jo served us delicious breakfasts that left us satisfied all morning.
While enjoying hot coffee over breakfast we were graced with sightings of Deer, Owls and Bunnies through the many picture windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped backyard.
When returning to Dreamings in the evening after busy days we relaxed on our own deck and enjoyed fresh snacks that Joesphine would have waiting for us in our room.
Falling asleep was easy on a comfy bed, listening to the sounds of nature and the most amazing sounding windchimes we've ever experienced.

オーナーさんがソークの町まで迎えに来てくれました。車がないと行きにくい所ですが、人里離れた？とても静かな場所にあります。家の中はオーナーさんのセンスがちりばめられていて、とても素敵な部屋です。至る所にイヌイットのアートがあって、ギャラリーのようでした。
バスルームには広いバスタブとジャグジーがあり、キャンドルを灯してゆっくり寛げます。
朝食はオーガニックのストロベリー、ヨーグルト、手作りのリコッタチーズのキッシュ、マフィンやケーキなど盛りだくさんで、とてもおいしかったです。

This large, clean, beautiful custom-designed house at the edge of a forest was great. We paid for a smaller room, but our friendly host offered us the larger one for the same price since it was empty. Wow, that was nice of her!
The room was beautifully furnished, not frilly and stupid, with high ceilings and solid, muted colors, skylights, and a big whirlpool tub. We also had a very small balcony with a view of the big back yard that merges right into a forest. We were told to keep alert for cougar and bear.
Best about Dreamings, though, was the quiet, the fresh air,and the breakfasts--Josephine really knows what she's doing in the kitchen. The salmon scrambled eggs were divine. (Just be clear about exactly what you do and don't eat if you're some variety of vegetarian.)
The basket of muffins and scones--also homemade--were amazingly delicious, and our host encouraged us to take the leftovers.
Everything about this place is great, if you don't remind the remote location; for us, that just made it better. Overall, highly recommended.

Another B&B owner recommended Dreamings to us. We had stayed in E. Sooke before and knew we wanted to return to the area. She told me it was a new B&B and it was beautifully run. Boy was she right on! Josephine, the B&B owner, is an excellent and knowledgeable host. Her place is furnished in rustic, handmade furnishings that evoke the forest around the property. There is BC art everywhere. The garden is beautiful (and if you hang out at the right time you'll catch a glimpse of the deer and other animals around). Breakfast is very yummy, bountiful, and organic. Plus the place is extraordinarily clean, comfortable, and roomy.
Josephine is quite informative about the area. She can direct you to just about anywhere in the area you want to go. If you are seeking a magical, memorable setting for your next holiday, I would highly recommend Dreamings B&B in East. Sooke.

I just stayed at Dreamings near East Sooke Provincial Park and stumbled on this little lovely B&B. There will be a few things I remember from my stay but the first has to be that it was the best nights sleep I've had in years. Josephine, the host is an amazing chef and I liked that she cooked with all organic foods. The park is beautiful and HUGE, don't get lost though. Follow the markers, but do get down to the ocean, it's worth the hike to get into the little secluded harbours.
