We had a fantastic time here at this property. The owners were lovely and welcoming, and we will definitely be returning again soon! The bed was super comfy, and the room was spacious and was well designed. The only thing I would recommend is an area to get ready, and some more plug sockets by the bed. But other than that I couldn't fault it! A perfect stay!

We received the studio room which was really lovely. Very comfy bed, a well equipped kitchenette, a very large and well appointed bathroom and a private entrance from the garden. Parking was excellently located and just a few steps from the room. The grounds are very pleasant although fairly limited as to how far you can go along the river. When we arrived (a bit earlier than planned) we got the room pretty quickly and were shown around. Due to the Covid situation no breakfast is served but we had a well organized kitchenette with a coffee machine (with capsules) and fresh milk in the fridge. A large Morrison's just a short drive away, so organizing meals in the room wasn't an issue. Location ideal for driving into the city and the train station is close by if you want to avoid the traffic and parking problems in town. Highly recommend visiting the Dalkeith Country park close by for beautiful walks!…

We were lucky enough to stay in Glenarch House at the end of August, it was warm and cosy. The king size bedroom we stayed in was perfect, we didn’t want to leave. The gardens are beautiful and well kept, there’s lots to do in the area and plenty of places to eat. They Family that own and run Glenarch are delightful and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thanks for a lovely stay x

Stayed in the Glenarch House bnb and i have to say the room was lovely, very comfortable, very clean and just perfect. The welcome we received on arrival was first class as well. Would highly recommend a stay at the Glenarch to everybody

My family recently stayed at this beautiful guesthouse located at the edge of Dalkeith as my oldest boy was getting married in the town. What a find this turned out to be, stunning location, excellent accommodation and fantastic service from Nicola the owner. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking to visit this area.
