The house is wonderful !!! The pool area is absolutely marvelous. Very convenient to have two kitchens... The property care takes is a real pleasurable guy. We had some issues in turning on the grill and he came to assist us in less than 5 minutes. Would recommend anyone to rent it!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Brenda's beautiful property in Laguna de Apoyo. Our visitors and our friends from Managua all had a great and relaxing time. Plenty of space for a large group to enjoy a nice day and evening at the house. We particularly liked the nice big palapa with couches and hammocks to relax on. My friends appreciated the small grassy fields for the kids to play. We spend most of our time enjoying the outdoor space and BBQ grill. And when the time came to sleep we all retreated to nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. Their caretaker Wilmur was wonderful as well. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay!

We absolutely loved the 4 nights we spent at Mark and Brenda’s gorgeous house on Laguna de Apoyo. We were a group of 3 families, with 8 kids ranging in age from 5-12 years. The lake was amazing for swimming and we enjoyed the boogie boards and kayaks. We did several outings, including the night visit to Volcan Masaya, Volcan Mombacho, the towns of Granada and Masaya. It was so convenient to use the 16 passenger van, and our driver, Jose-Maria was excellent and gave us lots of great information. Mark was in contact with us the entire time, and we felt very cared for. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!!

This was one of the best, if not the best, of my experiences with VRBO or AirBnB! The property was amazing and even better than depicted in the listing (hard to believe!). It has everything you could want for a great vacation from reliable internet, fresh water coolers, a fully equipped kitchen, and the floating raft and kayaks for fun in the water. Not sure if this happens year round but when we stayed there there was a nice breeze almost the entire day which kept the flying bugs to almost nothing. The breeze also meant that even with 85 degree weather each day we were always comfortable when sitting outside. When inside the mini-split air conditioners were great for a comfortable nights sleep. Maybe the best part was Mark and his amazing hospitality along with the help of Don Mario and Wilmer...with their help our vacation of 10 people couldn't have been any better! We used the large van that Mark had available for trips to the airport, expeditions, and just going to the grocery store and it made the vacation so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Mark was amazingly responsive when texting him and we couldn't have felt better taken care of. Lake Apoyo is super relaxing with warm water and no motorized boats allowed so there is no noise pollution...the only thing you will hear when sitting on the balcony is the exotic birds and the occasional monkey. A few people in our group went scuba diving in the crater and had a blast. I would 100% recommend staying at this property and know you won't regret it!

I can’t say enough nice things about this place and the people. Beautiful, well stocked for all your needs, perfect for kids and couples, there are no negatives about this house. We love this piece of heaven!

This was a beautiful property. Mark is very responsive to any questions you may have. This was my first time in Nicaragua and I was visiting family, this was the perfect place because it was very spacious for a family reunion. The housekeeper, Wilmer, was excellent as well. Went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. Will definitely be renting again in the future.

This is the 3rd time we have rented here. It just gets better each time. It is one of our favorite places ever.

We loved our stay. . It has everything for a self contained vacation but a wonderful driver is available to see local site, shop or dine out. We stayed in most days using the lake, the dock and the boats for recreation with good hiking near by. Mark and Brenda were available and responsive at every turn. It was a great way for three generation family to spend Christmas week.

Absolutely loved the house. Plenty of room for us and then some. Wilmer took care of everything we needed. Only issue was rocks near the beach which could easily be removed to leave a sandy path to the lake. Also I think the raft could be fixed up a bit to make it easier to climb up and not have to worry about hardware sticking up. It is easy to overlook these issues. Swimming was superb and the setting and views are unbeatable. We were. Able to go to Granada one day and enjoyed that but mostly we enjoyed the warm sunny lake setting.

We took a team of 15 people for an overnight retreat and it was perfect. Lots of places to relax as a group, but also individually. House was so clean and organized, everything easy to find and both kitchens stocked great. Wilmer, the caretaker, was always available to help. Mark was patient, flexible, and quick at responding as we set up our reservation. We will definitely bookmark this house as our favorite in Laguna!
