Maison très bien placée avec une belle vue.
Tout est très bien équipé et confortable, on se sent comme chez soi.
La maison à été est très agréable à vivre.
Bon accueil et échanges avec les propriétaires.
Vacances en famille avec personnes âgées et enfants en bas âge vraiment très agréables.

Lovely renovated old house, great location and views
The house is beautifully renovated with everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The views of the lake across the road are stunning, and it is just a short walk to the village centre which is very picturesque and the locals very welcoming and helpful. There are many interesting attractions a short drive away so plenty to do. We would love to go there again.

Great house, great location
We had a fantastic week’s stay in Jayne’s lovely, spacious house, a beautiful property on the edge of the lake. Our teenage children enjoyed cycling to the nearby swimming pool and paddle boarding on the lake. Thankbyou so much for the warm welcome. We will be back!

The most amazing relaxing holiday we have ever experienced.even more than we expected.
The location is post card perfect and the home itself is more than you can imagine...200year old residence with every modern convenience you could ever require...the courtyard is a sunfilled paradise to sit and read or share a relaxing drink together.The village itself is friendly with a choice of great restaurants and the walk around the picturesque lake is a great way to relax...can't wait to go back again.

what a beautiful home! The house was really comfortable, with everything you needed for a fabulous holiday.
What a beautiful house, We had a fabulous holiday with our grown up children their partners and their 2 toddlers. So much space, so comfortable and the courtyard was lovely to sit outside until bedtime. The week just flew by. Would recommend to family and friends.

Lovely Spot
The house is spacious and very charming. The guest rooms were all very comfortable and all had breathtaking views over the lake.
We were an awkward party including a teenager, two sisters and an elderly mother.
Our Mum did have a slight problem with the twisty stairs but found that by limiting her climbs each day she managed very well. There was a downstairs bathroom which helped tremendously. Our teen enjoyed the attic rooms and playing with the English TV channels. Luckily the wifi is good all around the house so he was kept very well occupied with his technology. Us two sisters enjoyed using the very well equipped kitchen, producing some good home cooking between us (we aren't used to sharing a kitchen!!).
There was ample room on the road outside to park. My sister hired a car in the middle of the week and we had no problem parking both of them.
The courtyard garden was lovely and private for breakfasts and we liked the little chinaman set into the walls.
Jugon les lacs is a quaint little town with a good selection of shops and very friendly locals. There is a lot of good English speaking also so this is handy when your French is a bit rusty. The leisure complex around the lake is an easy walk from the house and there are pedalos and kayaks for hire. You can cover quite a bit of water in the time you are on the lake! The eggs from the caretaker's son are to die for. We had a dozen and they were very delicious!! At Jugon les lacs you are well positioned to take in the entire region of Brittany, north coast is very close with beautiful beaches, south to Carnac stones is also easily achieved as is the Presqu'il de Crozon to the west. Mont St Michel to the east is also well worth a visit.
Our verdict? - We LOVE Brittany, Jugon les lacs and The Lake House!!!

Wonderful Views! Perfect Get-Away!
I spent two weeks at this lovely home that looks out at the lake. This lovely home had everything I needed - including an office work space! I loved the back porch for morning coffee. This home is beautiful, well-cared for and the perfect get-away! I will be back! Perfection!!!

Beautiful house in a lovely location
We are so glad to have chosen this house for our holiday in Brittany. The house is on three floors with winding staircases. Our boys were most comfortable in the attic which has a lounge area with 2 single beds that make up a day bed, double bedroom and lovely ensuite. They even had their own kitchenette with fridge.
The rooms are spacious and airy, the kitchen has all the mod cons but is quaint, the lounge is a good size.
The house is a 2 minute walk to a supermarket and even closer is the boulangerie, of which there are 2 to choose from but we preferred the one nearer to the house. The pizza restaurant Donatellos is fab.
The house is directly opposite the lake, literally across the road in front of the house. There are little benches outside the house and we enjoyed sitting there on a sunny morning with our coffee and pain au chocolat, admiring the beautiful views.
A short walk around the lake and there is a really nice swimming pool, indoor and outdoor, a basketball/football court, pedalos and some swings and a slide. Our kids were old enough to go explore by themselves but I would suggest it's a nice way to spend an afternoon if you took a picnic and a bottle of wine and lazed around beside the lake while the kids played.
We visited many places whilst staying here. I highly recommend Dinan which is 15 mins by car and the enchanted forest at Huelgoat which is about 45 mins from recollection. However, the house owners have left a fab information guide for the house, the village and surrounding areas so you don't need to worry if you've not researched anywhere to go!
Loved the serenity of this place and it was a shame to have to come home :(.

The Lake House
We've just returned from a fabulous week at The Lake House in Jugon les Lacs. The house was absolutely lovely, very spacious, with everything you could possibly need, nice decor and wonderful location, right by the lake. We particularly enjoyed the close proximity to the village centre too, buying our fresh croissants for breakfast and visiting Donatello and Auberge du Lac restaurants for dinner of an evening, both were great. All in all, a super spot for a relaxing break, from which to visit Dinan, St Malo and many other charming places. Would love to go back.
