We spent a week in this beautiful elegant French town house. Loved the house. So comfortable and felt like home . Everything there that you could need in the kitchen for cooking . We also made use of the bbq for the warm , barmy evenings .
Spent many days at the lakes and walking through the forests with our very happy dog . A truely French town with lots to offer.

Great house, great town
Our family enjoyed staying here, the house is well set up and comfortable. We really liked the lovely sunny kitchen - perfect for cooking up treats with the delicious foods that you can buy at the shops is Forges-les-Eaux (or there are several excellent restaurants in walking distance) and the sun baked garden is a treat. The teenagers were happy with the wifi speed too.

So relaxing
Loads of bedrooms but somehow also sooo cosy. V French. Lovely central location in this fab spa town. Millions of bakeries nearby, along with great walks, and being near the hotel meant we all got amazing massages which was brilliant. On the last day we drove to the beach which was gorgeous even in Winter. Would recommend!

A lovely home from home
The house is in the centre of town with easy parking outside. There are numerous Boulangerie/Patisserie within a couple of minutes walk, along with lots of other shops. I was worried that it might be noisy being in a town but it was very peaceful. We stayed for a week and had a very restful break. The house is so well equipped, every home comfort is there for you along with lots of books, games, English TV etc. There is a lot of space in the house and it was more that enough for us 4 adults. There is a small supermarket a couple of minutes walk away which is more than adequate and a couple of others within a 5 minute drive.The restaurant 235 is very good with a set price menu with enough on it to cater for the fussy eaters in our group. Do make sure you book as it is very busy, but that does not detract from the good service. There is also a good Pizza takeaway across the road. Margaret has a great info book for when you arrive explaining pretty much all you need to know about what is round and about. There are 2 small markets in the town on Thursday and Sunday which we enjoyed wandering around. Forges-Les Eaux is a lovely town and all the people we met were very nice and appreciated our attempts to order our baguette and croissants in French.

beau et cosy
Maison pleine de charme très confortable et très bien décorée, nous y avons avec nos enfants passé un séjour de rêve !
Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits douillets à souhait
La cuisine ouverte est conviviale et lumineuse pour prendre ses repas et cuisiner (il ne manque rien comme équipement !)
Le soir un feu de cheminée et des canapés moelleux
Le jardin est calme et on se sent comme chez soi et notre chat était lui aussi ravi.
La maison est située dans le centre ville proche de tous les commerces
Forges est une petite ville typique de la Normandie avec en plus son casino, sa piscine et son marché où l'on peut échanger avec les producteurs de la région et découvrir des légumes délicieux.
Je recommande à la fois cette belle maison très agréable et sa situation géographique ; on peut profiter de la campagne et de la mer, Dieppe n'est pas loin et le port est animé même en hiver !
Nous y retournerons cet été !

Superb!
An absolutely fantastic home from home. The house was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well equipped For all our needs.
The town the house is situated in was perfect for our needs, and the area was great for accessing some of favourite places (Honfleur, Deauville and Dieppe) but also discovering some other local WW2 sites and chateaus.
I had fantastic communication with the owner throughout the booking process. With a lovely welcome pack on arrival. We stayed over new year, and the Christmas tree and lights were still up which was a wonderful touch.
Somewhere we will 100% visit again in the future!

Excellent - A homely, clean and welcoming dwelling in the heart of the town. This holiday rental is truly a home from home experience. The kitchen is a delight to cook in, with every possible facility and utensil available. The rooms of the house are spacious, comfortable and very well presented. Margaret's attention to detail has to be highly commended; we based our travels and explorations on the excellent information provided in the guest folder by Margaret and we were always impressed by what we found. The town of Forges les Eaux is splendid, with wonderful shops, bakeries and the fab La 235 restaurant. We would very much like to return in the future to explore and relax in this wonderful part of France. We as a family had a wonderful experience in La Farfollerie - Thank you Margaret.

A beautiful, elegant house in a lovely small town
We stayed for two weeks in October and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and well equipped, with a large sun-drenched kitchen equipped with everything you could need. It’s in an ideal position in the middle of the town so it’s only minutes to a range of patisseries with wonderful cakes and baguettes (we had to try them every day) as well as lovely walks around the lakes or along the Avenue Verte. It’s also ideally situated for trips to the coast or to beautiful cities like Rouen and Amiens. We visited Monet’s garden at Giverny and the Palace of Versailles (both stunning), so two items off my bucket list.

Brilliant
Stayed for a week with our dog and 13 year old daughter in August. Had a brilliant holiday. The location of the house is perfect for those who love food (isn't that why we go to France?!) as you have 4/5 bakeries and patisseries on the doorstep. We loved being able to shop and cook and go out for a coffee, meal or drink without the car. The house is really comfortable and well stocked and very spacious. The Sunday morning market next to the house is fantastic for your first morning, it's very small but I loved it. The Carrefour round the back of the house is really handy too. We ate at the Forge Hotel at the evening buffet which is good value, at Le 235 and Le Paix all of which we enjoyed. Our favourite day out was to Veules les Roses, a beautiful seaside town. We used the public swimming pool 15 min walk away which is 3 euros each and was heated to 29 degrees, great if you have kids. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Margaret is incredibly helpful and I have to say it was one of the easiest and most pleasant holiday lets we've had. 100% recommend. Attached some pics of the food we shopped and cooked!!

Terrific Family Gite
We spent the week after the Brexit vote in Forge Les Eaux and very relaxing it was too. We had as many as 7 and the dog staying in the four comfortable bedrooms and the house never felt remotely cramped or crowded. The kitchen is excellently equipped and gives out onto the small but pretty garden and the large sitting room is ideal for family film watching or board game playing. It is near all amenities with supermarkets and patissiers nearby. 45 minutes from Dieppe and 45 mins from Rouen makes it an ideal base. Would very, very happily stay there again. One further point is that Margaret Cook is a delight to deal with and any queries and issues (and there were very few) were dealt with immediately.
