Carol's unit and yard are fabulous! Perfect size for longer stay, great patio and lawn area, beautiful view, private, bright, clean and very well equiped. The unit is around the back so does not face the street but you get some street noise.

My stay was amazing! Being able to see the ocean where ever I was in side the suite or out was breath taking.
It was very difficult to leave.
Carol was very kind and thoughtful host... her accommodations were spot on to her listing.
My dog was very happy with the grassy yard right out the door.
Looking forward to returning in spring.

This suite is very well appointed. The kitchen and home is very well equipped with what you need to cook even a big meal. Very home like feeling and the living room area comfortable to relax. The kitchen looks great very the living room
And you can see the lake from the kitchen as well. The walk down to the lake front has a good path but is not for someone with mobility issues, however the view from the top is very nice. The home is located east to get to and just a short drive to some very nice walking paths. The beds were not very comfortable to us, but the Owner seemed receptive to my opinion on that. The Owner lives above but she respects your privacy and responded to concerns & requests.

Loved my stay in this beautiful suite. The kitchen has everything you need. The couch and chairs outside are all great spots to sit with coffee and take in the ocean view. The hot tub made this getaway feel like a retreat. Carol is so responsive and had lots of great recommendations of restaurants and activities in Sooke. Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay in a wonderful home. Great kitchen, good beds and brand-new curtains. The jacuzzi was waiting for us and so were the wonderful views, the bald eagles and the seals. Thanks Carol, you're the best!

Relaxing vacation with family in Sooke
We were visiting family for the month and were more than pleased with this unit. There was plenty of room for us (me, my husband, brother and sister-in-law), even when our kids and grandchildren came by. The unit is well equipped, with everything we needed, beds were comfy and the views were incredible. We made good use of the patio, fire pit area and hammock. Carol was a great host.

Just what we needed!
Carole was a lovely host but still gave us lots of privacy. One day she even brought us a plate of goodies! The place is very well stocked. There was lots of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Also, the pantry had some essentials, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, seasonings, bags, laundry soap, etc. There was lots of TP and paper towels and lots of linens, blankets, pillows and extra towels. Extremely well supplied. There is construction going on across the street but as we were gone most days, it didn't really affect us too much and we realize this is temporary. You're also on the main 2 lane road that goes into town and you can hear some traffic noise when your windows are open but not a deal breaker. You're in the above ground, lower level of a duplex. The owners are upstairs and there are some sounds of daily living. Not really a problem. We just really appreciated being waterfront with our own beach access. Beautiful views, boats passing by, saw seals most days., lots of beach-combing. The beds were comfortable. TV worked well, WiFi strong, so overall, high marks. Lots to do in Sooke and you're really close to everything. Loved it here! Check out Cathy's Corner for casual lunch! Shopping at Village Market for groceries was great! Whiffin Spit Park and Ed MacGregor Park and Boardwalk were neat places to go. If you're there for longer make a trip up to Port Renfrew to see Botanical Beach. Be sure to go at low tide. The tidal pools are amazing!! Never seen anything like it. There are still many places we didn't get to so we'll just have to come back if Carol will have us back?
