We stayed only 2 nights in the apartment but wish we could have more time here. We arrived a bit late and the host was very accommodating, understanding of our circumstances and waited to meet us in the apartment personally. He asked if it was our first time in Toledo and when we said yes he invited us to check a big painting in the corridor and gave us a brief history and places of interests in only few minutes. I think that was a very nice touch. You can see the host really likes his town and proud of it :)
Moving in he showed us the place, upstairs the bedroom with bathroom while living room and kitchen on the lower level, just like on the pictures. It was only two of us so the place felt huge, we had lost of space.
The apartment is equipped with all you need for a short or long stay. Basic elements in the kitchen for cooking (sugar, slat, peppers, oil, some seasonings....etc) and cleaning. Just right in the middle of Jewish center. That means you will see lots of tourist going up and down all day. The night is quiet enough as no night-clubs around so tourist would be gone by then.
The host also provided us with a map and recommended what and where to see or try/taste. Beside the map he gave us a list of locally recommended restaurants, specialties in Toledo also a local place if you wish to get away from the touristy side a try something real local. We tried Carcamusas, mouthwatering dish very similar to a stew, also a pastry called toledanas (filled with cabello de ángel). Beside the list of restaurant he provided a list of churches/museums that can be visited. Also he pointed out what is worth visiting more in case you don't have time for much (just as in our case). We bought a bracelet for EUR12 that gave us free entry to 7 churches in different parts of Toledo. One of the churches has El Greco's painting (church Santo Tome). The central cathedral and other museums are not included but it already worth the price, you can see plenty in these places.
The city is walkable, I recommend you to walk down to the Alcazar viewpoint worth the effort.
All in all we enjoyed the apartment and the city equally. Would be happy to return anytime :)

Toledo nos ha encantado. La casa situada en un sitio privilegiado. No tuvimos que coger el coche en ningún momento. Ibas a todos lados en 10m.andando.jesus,el anfitrión muy amable nos lo hizo todo más fácil y la casa muy bonita, pequeña pero para dos personas, quizás la mejor opción. Si volvemos a Toledo volveríamos al mismo alojamiento

Wonderful flat
I found the flat perfect for my stay and the location was just as good. It was clean, spacious, full of character and with everything you could ask for. The apartment is on a popular road with Santo Tome church, various eateries, shops and plenty of other sights within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here and you couldn't ask for a better host! Toledo was such a beautiful city with so much to see and do.

Fabuloso apartamento
Precioso duplex en plena parte histórica de Toledo y Jesús, el propietario, encantador, nos facilitó todo desde el primer momento. El apartamento limpio, precioso con excelentes calidades en todo el mobiliario, la cama comodisima. Excelente experiencia. Sin duda repetiremos. Absolutamente recomendable. Really great apartment, right on the main street of the Jewish quarter. Jesus was a great host, really helpful with restaurant suggestions. Centrally located to everything you'd ever need. Highly recommended.

Nonnen und Marzipan
Die Wohnung liegt in der historischen Altstadt und damit fußläufig zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Betreuung durch Jesus vor der Anreise und bei meiner Ankunft war sehr nett, die Beschreibung und Tipps für die Anreise sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist schön und hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht.
Für Toledo sollte man sich mehrere Tage Zeit nehmen, die Stadt hat so viel zu bieten an Kultur, Geschichte und Kunst. Auch an sehr leckeren Süßigkeiten - direkt vor der Fewo befindet sich das Cafe der Nonnen, die das Marzipan erfunden haben - unbedingt probieren.
Abends kann man in dem nebenan gelegenen Restaurant gut essen und anschliessend in der Altstadt spazieren gehen.
Einplanen soltte man auch eine "Wanderung" am Tajo, der Fluss fliesst drekt an Toldedo vorbei und es wurde ein schönder Weg am Ufer angelegt.
Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub und vielen Dank an Jesus (muchos saludos).

Jesus was very helpful and apartment is in a great location.
Jesus made sure we had everything we needed and even made sure we had a cab to take us to MAD since the earliest train on Sunday's is 9:30 am. The taxi drivers don't always speak English so this was really helpful to us. The apartment is in a great location and within easy walking distance to all of the sights. Thanks Jesus!

Right In The Heart Of Toledo
My wife and I were very excited when we rented this apartment for three nights. It looked to be right in the heart of Toledo and we hoped it would provide us with a unique experience, one we would not get by staying in a hotel. Everything about this apartment is as shown and for the right people it should be great. For us it provided a little too much authenticity, by that I mean that the apartment is on the second and third floors, located on a small street (one that we expected to be much quieter). It seems that every tour group makes its way down this street and it was incredibly loud from early morning to late at night. We are light sleepers and it was very difficult to get any rest here. So be forewarned if this sounds like you. If you can sleep through anything than perhaps this will not bother you and in that case you will probably love the place.
Opening all the floor to ceiling windows and looking down at the street was wonderful and the apartment has basically everything you'll need and all was in working order. The water pressure was somewhat lacking and if more that two people are staying here you may run out of hot water after the second shower (it has a 70 gallon tank).
I also want to mention the owner Jesus who was extremely helpful and understanding. Jesus met us at the apartment on time and answered any questions we had. (He also recommended an amazing place for tapas called Abadia - easily the best tapas we had on our twelve night trip through Spain). We had not originally paid him for the third night and when we decided to move to a hotel (because of the noise) for our last night in Toledo he was very understanding. We offered to pay him and he refused to accept any payment if we were not entirely happy with the apartment.
All in all this is a great apartment for the right people and while our stay was less than we expected, people who stayed here previously and posted reviews clearly liked it.

Really good apartment.
A really good apartment. Ideal for a couple. Very central location, 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral, but still not at all too noisy. Jesus met us as we'd arranged by email and was very friendly and helpful. A kettle would have been even better.

Great location in the Jewish Quarter
Ideally located and not far from the parking building, bags only need to be carried to 1st floor. There are shops and cafes/ bars in the street below; we found earplugs useful at night, but noise not too intrusive during the day. Full cooking facilities, dishwasher and washing machine for clothes; we found clothes dried within 24 hrs hung upstairs in the bedroom. Bathroom also upstairs. We were given a map and a number of good tips for our visit. A kettle would be useful!

Tanto desde la estación de tren (destino Zocodover): 5,5D, 11, 61, 62 y 94), como desde la de autobuses (destino Plaza del Conde, junto al apartamento: 12), hay buses urbanos. Un taxi cuesta alrededor de 6€ y te deja en la puerta de la casa en unos 10 minutos. A 100 m del apartamento hay un parking público, es el ideal para descargar e instalarse. El precio es de unos 18€/día.
