Services, propreté pas à la hauteur du prix à la semaine.
Séduits par l’annonce et les photos.
Cadre et maison super sympas.
Vu le prix de la location à 5000€ la semaine, on s’est fait plaisir.
Arrivés la-bas, mauvaises surprises :
Le ménage pas fait avec sérieux.
Le parquet en haut est super dangereux, 2 lames se déclipsent
Le jacuzzi, tous les contours étaient gras Dégoûtant
La salle de sport toute poussiéreuse,
Le tapis de course ne fonctionne pas.
La salle de jeux; le billard, 0 canne utilisable.
Le baby foot n’en parlons pas.
Le trampoline est tout cassé.
Les transats cassés ou dégoûtants dans un coin de la grange.
Nous avons rencontré un problème le lendemain de notre arrivé avec un wc. La personne a contacter en cas de problème a été avertie . Et aucune nouvelle de la semaine alors qu’il devait passer le lendemain. Honteux !!!
Conseils ne vous faites pas avoir comme nous, fuyez cette annonce.
Car à ce prix là, c’est du grand foutage de gueule et du vol.

Great country holiday!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic. It was a perfect country retreat. The house is big enough to allow people to do their own thing. The beds were very comfortable (very important to me as I have back problems). The yard is wonderful and the "party" barn was perfect for fun nights of pool and karaoke, with and without the kids. The surrounding area is calm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. Communication with Riel was excellent from our first contact on. Andrew, the property manager, is wonderful and one of the nicest people you're likely to meet. We were made to feel at home the entire time and knew that we had help whenever needed. I recommend this lovely house without hesitation!

Lovely spacious Farmhouse in rural setting. Perfect big family holiday.
We spent two lovely weeks at Les Clos in August 2019 to celebrate 4 big family birthdays in 2019 (70/50/40/40!). We had a great time despite managing to attend France in the middle of it's hottest ever Summer....and it was mostly mild and showery for the 2 weeks!
We were a party of 13 (8 adults / 5 children aged 5-9) and the property was more than big enough to manage all of us. The property has a good kitchen-diner which we could all easily sit round for dinner and a spacious lounge where we could gather at night-time. The bedrooms were all well proportioned and no-one felt they had a "box" room, and the number of bathrooms meant there was no queue in the mornings. The outside space is fantasic, as the children could run around the entire property without any fear of them getting lost. The outside swimming pool was perfect as all our children could swim around in it without any worries about a deep end, the Hot-Tub was great for the adults, and the outside bar-b-que was fantastic. The property is set apart from others by the separate Barn which has been converted into a Pub with a Pool Table and Bar, which we spent many nights in as a family. It was like going for a night out without leaving the property and my 9 year old nephew arrived not being able to hold a cue and left a pool shark!
The property is more rural than we expected. It is just under 2 miles from the nearest village (Pleene-Jugon) but there is no path to walk there and only a country road which is used by cars. It meant we had to use cars whenever we went anywhere which meant people couldn't just pop anywhere if they wanted a change of scenery. There are local farms all around which means there are a number of Black Flies inside the property, which we resolved with Fly Tape.
The upside of this is that there was no-one around the property at all, and as above our children could run around outside and play without any worry.
The local village was really nice and had a wonderful Boulangerie which we visited everyday, however as with all of France everyone else goes on holiday in August to, so one of the bars and 2 of the local restaurants were shut all the time we were there.
As mentioned on some other posts the local area is fantastic. We particarly loved Jugon Las Lacs which has a brilliant Italian restaurant where I had the nicest pizza I have ever eaten (Le Donatello), and a great Water Park which the children thought was the highlight of the holiday.
Andrew who manages the property is a fountain of information and kindly reccommended and booked restaurants for us, and came and addressed any issues we had in the property promptly.
Overall a great holiday in a fantastic part of the world and we will look back at it fondly.

A brilliant space for family fun
We had a wonderful week at Les Clos. The house is thoughtfully designed, and was amply spacious for our party, which consisted of 9 adults and 5 children (aged 5 years - 4 months). We spent many hours in the garden, using the hot tub and lap pool, swings and trampoline, and ate most of our meals outside in the garden. The playroom was really well equipped: all the toys were in really excellent condition and a delight for the kids to explore. The lounge was really comfortable, and the bedrooms all spacious and spotlessly clean. We didn't make use of the party barn, partly because we needed to be within earshot of the kids after bedtime. I'm sure it would be brilliant for adult-only parties, or families with slightly older children.
The house manager, Andrew, was brilliant: a real asset to Les Clos. He and his wife arranged for pizzas to be in the fridge for our arrival, they helped one of the party obtain antibiotics, and he and his wife cooked a delicious meal for us that lasted well into the next day and beyond.
If we had to make any suggestions for improvement, we would have liked a couple of comfier cots (only travel cots are provided). The attic room isn't ideal for the very old or very young (steep stairs). Also, we booked through Baby Friendly Boltholes and were slightly surprised by a couple of "hidden fees" – namely the cleaning fee and a surcharge for two extra occupants (we exceeded the maximum of 12 occupants by bringing two babies in cots).

A week of making memories
The perfect venue for our first three generation family holiday to celebrate Granny's 70th. There were 13 of us - eight adults and five children aged 7, 6, 4, 3 and 3.
Riel was incredibly helpful and friendly in every pre-holiday communication and made some great recommendations. The house had everything we needed and more, the space was perfect and there was more than enough room for everyone to come together or to have some time out. It was brilliant to relax and spend time as adults after the children had gone to bed rather than sitting in a dark hotel room.
The house is in a rural location and so you need a car to get anywhere - even just the village which does have a well-stocked supermarket and two boulangeries.
Andrew was a great host and came to our rescue when the temperature reached 38C and the two fans were not enough. He was also able to make recommendations and ordered roast chickens for our second day and fresh pizzas on the Tuesday.
We went to Jugon Les Lacs and hired pedalos - we wanted to take out the giant paddleboard but it was expensive. We went to the water park there two afternoons - be warned as boys can't wear baggy shorts and so we had to buy a pair for 15 euros to avoid disappointing small people!
We escaped the heat at the Aquarium and Dinan bowling, we went on Le Petit Train around Dinan which was informative if a little sweaty! Hisse et Ho was a lot of fun for everyone - all of us loved the treetop walkways and trampolines. You need closed shoes so pack them if you want to go. The little ones also loved the Shetland Pony rides which was incredible value.
Binic beach was disappointing and I am sure there are much nicer ones on the Brittany coast - we are lucky to have some amazing ones in Guernsey so unfair to make the comparison. Other reviews mention alternatives.
The only downside were the flies. There were cows in the field next door which meant you had to keep the kitchen door closed and that was impossible with 13 of us coming in and out from the decking and pool area - we became proficient in fly swatting! Not sure even Riel and Andrew could solve that issue but worth highlighting so people bring a fly swatter with them!
We hope everyone enjoys Les Clos as much as we did.

Beautiful House & Excellent Facility’s
We stayed in this beautiful house for a week as a group of 15. The grounds are very well maintained with an ideal sized plunge pool & jacuzzi, house beautifully decorated throughout, well equipped kitchen, gym and as for the Barn - wow, such a fantastic space to enjoy for any age. Andrew was on hand to assist with any questions and the local village has everything you need. We all left totally relaxed after having the most fabulous time. Thanks guys, we hope to see you again soon 😊

Amazing property
We rented the property for a group of 14, 8 adults and 6 children. It was a perfect house and a great location. We will definitely be returning again.

Excellent family property in beautiful countryside
We stayed for a week in June; 4 x adults, 2 x babies and 2 x 3 year olds. The house is large with 5 good sized bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen, loads of storage and a great play room for the kids- fully stocked with toys, puzzles, books, games- you name it. The garden space is lovely, with a swingset for kids, and a separate bar building for adults with pool table. There are high chairs for babies and crockery and cutlery for kids. We had a week of poor weather, which is unusual in our experience of the region for this time of year. I think that with any other house this may have proven a challenge, but the space and the kids stuff provided really did make it all easier. Riel the owner is very communicative and Andrew the manager really couldn't do enough for us. We had two home cooked meals which he provided, both of a very high standard, and the pork dish, in particular, was exceptional. Andrew also arranged for a local pizza van on one night and was freely available for advice on things to see and do. I'd highly recommend this property for families looking to enjoy the Brittany countryside. It's less than an hour from St Malo, and we had day trips to the St Malo Acquarium, The Bourbansais Zoo, Dinan, and Rosaires Beach- all very worthwhile and family friendly

What a fabulous find!
What a find! My family have just spent a wonderful week at this truly stunning farmhouse, Les Clos. With over 30 years experience of holidays in rural France, this was up there with the best and was perfect for the 10 of us (aged from 10 to 85!) Apart from the beautiful grounds and house which speak for themselves, the service provided was absolutely first class. Riel & Nick have ensured every comfort is provided and Andrew, the property manager, was just awesome and couldn’t have been more helpful, from cooking us a delicious dinner on our first night to ordering pizzas for us and making dinner reservations! Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated the 5 star service. The whole place is sparkling clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. We managed to drag ourselves off to visit Etables sur Mer, a favourite beach from years gone by and it was reassuringly unchanged. Also visited Dinan for the Thursday market which is excellent. Mostly though, we just enjoyed the facilities at our farmhouse - the pool and the Bar-n being firm favourites for the whole family. A daily walk around the block to see the neighbouring donkey was also great fun. We wished we could have stayed longer but will return for more of the luxury that is Les Clos.
