Lovely welcome with a fresh cream cake waiting on arrival. Thanks to Bridie. Beautiful views and a lovely house close to buncrana Main Street, 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk. The weather was absolutely beautiful the whole week we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Great house great location
Stayed with 6 friends to do a adventure race nearby, was perfect for a group, very good communication with the owner, house was clean and tidy, very reasonably priced , fantastic views and 5 min drive from buncrana town ,
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was, 1 2 bathroom but only one shower would have been handy to even have a shower attachment on the bath taps, also the crockery wasn't suitable for a home which slept 9, only 4 cereal bowls, apart for that it was fab

Wonderful stay. Bridie was so welcoming and the house was perfect. The grandkids loved it. Easy to walk to the beach with the dog.
I'd highly recommend a stay here- beautiful views too.

Great stay in a great house
We stayed in shanton house from 18-23 August and were very impressed with the house as a whole. All four rooms were large, spacious and beautifully decorated. There was 12 of us staying and there was more than enough room for us all.
Bridie was polite and helpful throughout our stay.
The location was about 5 minutes drive from buncrana town which was ideal for us.
Kids enjoyed the local wildlife( lamas and goats next door).
All round a great stay, will definately return :)

Excellent Stay
This house was perfect for my stay with my husband, brother, sister-in-law and their 3 young kids. The location is just 2 minutes drive from Buncrana town or 15 minutes form Derry. The views from the living room are amazing, there is plenty of parking area for cars, all the bedrooms were big and lovely decorated and the bathrooms were clean and modern. We were kindly provided with a cot and highchair for the youngest. The owner was very friendly and easily contactable throughout our stay and was willing to provide anything we needed. I would recommend this house for any type of group looking for a relaxing getaway to beautiful Donegal and I would definitely return.
