Fantastic spot, never been to this part of Italy before and the weather was perfect and the people friendly. My italian is not great so it was lovely to have menus in both italian and english. The apartment itself is very well presented, clean and spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool, on which we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The apartment had everything we needed including sunbeds and washing machine! It is also well located in Caulonia. The supermarket is 5 minutes, there is a lovely bar at the end of the road and the nearest beach is a 10/15 minute walk. Although it was end of season, the weather was amazing and we enjoyed relaxing on the beach, which we had virtually to ourselves. Food wise, although quite a few resturants had closed for the winter we still had plenty of choice. Plus you could get pizza to take away from Dolce Vita which we did one night. In all had a lovely peaceful and relaxing 5 days and would love to come back again

I stayed at F9 Collinetta in early September with friends, on arrival the accommodation was clean and inviting, with plenty of room for the group. It's well equipped with a kitchenette, fridge and large bathroom with the added bonus of a washing machine. The balcony overlooks the lovely pool area and is an ideal place to enjoy a lazy breakfast in the morning or some wine and conversation in the evening. There is a handy supermarket just down the road, and it's a pleasant walk down to the shops, beach, bars and restaurants. It's an added bonus that the closest bars and restaurants are reasonably priced and very welcoming. I'll definitely be visiting again, hopefully next year!

We stayed at this immaculate apartment in July 2018. All communication with the owner has been fast and without any issues what so ever. The service level is at 110%. The apartment is very very nice, modern and light. 3 spacious bedrooms all individually air conditioned, a big bathroom with a washing machine, and a well equipped kitchen, incl. a relatively large freezer for plenty of ice creams. The pool is very nice and quiet. Access to the apartment can only happen through gates with key access. The car can be parked inside the complex. Only 5 minutes away you find a big supermarket with all groceries needed. Further down the road a smaller grocery store with fresh bread. On Saturdays a very impressive local market. By the beach, which can be reached by foot in 20-25 minutes, we visited a very nice restaurant – a perfect meal at prices much lower that what we have seen the last years in northern Italy. The beach is sandy with small stones in the water – if you can it would be advisable to bring beach shoes. We took the car to the beach since we found it to be a rather long walk with all the blankets, towels ect. Other reviews of the apartment mentions an area under development. We found a town, which seems to have run out of money. Many unfinished buildings left untouched for years (to be seen by the trees growing up through the buildings). Other buildings with only 1 or 2 finished apartments and the rest blocked off at the windows and doors by bricks. The park in the town with fountains destroyed or filled with old water. A large very nice square, but sadly with only 2-3 shops where there is space for maybe 15 shops. All in all we found it to be a very sad town. Still we rate the apartment with 4 out of 5, because of the service level and the apartment itself. If you can see past the sadness of the town this is a perfect stay for a nice relaxing and quite holiday.

The apartments are new, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The kitchen is adequately equipped for self catering, although we preferred to eat out most evenings. There is a pool shared by all the apartments, however, as we were there towards the end of the season, we had it mostly to ourselves. The complex is situated about 15 minutes walk from the main part of Caulonia, where we found some charming coffee shops, restaurants and pizzerias, and there is a well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away. There is a local market on Saturdays in the park area in the village. The area is still developing and for us that was part of it's charm. It's peaceful and just the place for a relaxing holiday, for reading, eating and re-charging batteries. I would certainly love to re visit and would recommend the apartments.

We stayed at this immaculate apartment following another owner on the site letting us down badly. But, boy are we glad we did stay in this one. From booking through to the return of the keys the owners have been fabulous. All aspects of communication have been above and beyond what we expected. As for the apartment, it can only be described as spotless almost as if it was brand new! Consisting of 3 spacious bedrooms all individually air conditioned, and a lounge & kitchen with added bonus of a washing machine! Although from time to time the neighbours could be heard from above and further down the corridor, in general it was very peaceful. One of the things we have found when travelling is the showers in bathrooms can let you down... Not the case here, hot water enough for 3 showers one after the other and plenty of power from it. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for home cooking, not that we did much! But, the fridge and freezer are spacious with plenty of room for Proseco and many many Beers! Oh and a bottle of milk, shouldn't forget that... The pool of the complex is fantastic, very quiet even at the height of the season. The temperature is perfect, though the only downside is possibly it is not cleaned as often as it should be. But that didn't get in the way of our family enjoying it, or several other families who were in residence. I do know some people are concerned by safety/security in apartment complexes. There should however be no concerns here. From security gates to key access to apartments we never felt in the slightest bit worried. The only thing I would have liked is a small safe, but I guess that is from staying so often in hotels you get used to it. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, the supermarket being less than 5 minutes away. Prices right now with the exchange rate are very cheap. (€1.42=£1) When visiting the area you have to bear in mind it is still very much developing. Out of season I can imagine there is not much to do on an evening, during August though the seafront is very lively and busy with bars and nightclubs. All are about 15 minute walk. Finally, I have given it 4/5 but had I had the choice it would have got 4.5/5 I knocked a little bit off and still not sure I should have; but with a lack of lifts and one or two residents having dogs running around and barking, some folk would be put off by this. Right now this is not the finished article, but it's almost there and anyone visiting won't be disappointed with the apartment. Would I recommend this apartment for a stay in Caulonia, yes, absolutely. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

una casa veramente comoda, nuova e carina. Il mare dista a 5 minuti d'auto ed è di ciottolini ma nelle vicinanze c'è anche roccella jonica che invece ha la sabbia. Mare bellissimo, serate tranquille e rilassanti tra i vari chioschi bar, tra musica e luci e passeggiate sul lungomare a guardare le numerose bancarelle. Il paese, Caulonia, è veramente carino e le persone... che dire... simpatiche, cordiali, disponibili e chi più ne ha più ne metta.

Situated on the East side of the toe of Italy, surrounded by mountains, not far from the sea, Collinetta village has genuine rustic charm with warm friendly locals and good, simple but very tasty Italian food. There is a lot to like about this village. The apartment is clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The beach is a 15-20 min walk or a five minute drive. The nearest beach is a bit pebbly but there are plenty of sandy beaches a short distance away. There are only a few bars next to the local beach but there are some very nice restaurants along the beach front. The area is a developing tourist destination and has a gentle tourist trade and therefore can be quiet most of the year which may appeal to some but not others. However, there are no heavy construction works and none over the main holiday season. There are towns to visit, nature reserves, medieval castles and monasteries perched high in mountain tops, there is even a monastery in a cave! If you like quiet, rustic charm in a country known for it's history and good food. This holiday is for you.
