Capitol Hill Stay is a veteran-owned small business with 24 properties on Capitol Hill. We have been providing furnished lodging on Capitol Hill since 1996. We use excellent cleaners and pay them a living wage (they are best in DC if you ask me). And we have a professional full time property manager. If this property doesn't work for you or isn't available for the dates you need please reach out to us and let us know and we can see if we can find a property that does work for you. You can also swap from one of our properties to another as available if needed. For bookings beginning June 09 or later we do have a 30 day minimum, by DC law. PLEASE SEND US AN INQUIRY PRIOR TO ANY BOOKING REQUEST FOR ANY DATES AFTER June 09. HOUSE RULES AGREED TO UPON BOOKING: If you have very few reviews and/or minimal personal information in your profile we will require a government-issued photo ID that includes current home address within two hours of booking. At any time after booking and during your stay we may require the government-issued photo ID and a signed copy of these rules. Failure to provide may result in immediate cancellation of your stay, with no refund for past or future nights. Early move-in and late moveout MAY be possible if requested prior to booking. Request made later may not be possible. Luggage MAY possibly be left early or late if requested before booking. Pets may be allowed ONLY if requested at booking. Dogs must be nonaggressive and not make noise in a manner that would bother others and must be up to date on shots. There may be breed and size limitations. There may be an additional charge. No smoking (including marijuana) is allowed in the property or in any indoor common areas. This property is in an upscale residential area full of hard-working professionals. We expect guests to respect their neighbors. Please be reasonably quiet. No parties or gatherings. Quiet hours after 10 pm and before 7:30 am. Reservation is for the number of people indicated when booking. Additional guests must be requested in advance and there may be a surcharge. Anything wrong with the property must be noted within one hour of move-in by contacting us through the booking channel (Airbnb, etc) AND calling us. Please let us know immediately by phone AND thru VRBO of any serious matters that require immediate attention, including water leaks, or anything that would impact your stay significantly. Temporary utility outages (including internet) will be addressed promptly but are subject to limitations from utility provider. We provide internet but there is no guarantee the provider will provide any specific speed. This property is under pest control but we cannot guarantee you won't see an occasional pest at the property. Occasional utility outages or an occasional pest will be dealt with to the best of our ability but are not grounds for refund or early termination of stay. Due to supply chain issues if an appliance fails we will do our utmost to replace as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee the same specific type/brand of appliance, and there may be a delay in replacement or repair. This is not grounds for refund or booking termination. We may require access to the property for maintenance items or to show the property to prospective guests or buyers. Should this be the case we will give reasonable notice (24 hours when possible). However, emergency maintenance items may need immediate attention. We may require that you leave the property should we determine that damage has been caused to the property by you or anyone you allow to access the property, is being caused to the property, or is going to be caused to the property.
