Beautiful view of the marsh where my wife’s bucket...
Beautiful view of the marsh where my wife’s bucket list got a little shorter after we seen manatees. Quiet and tranquil neighborhood with lots of wildlife including deer and wild hogs. I’d recommend this to anyone that wants to be off the beaten path and still able to get back to civilization within 15 minutes. The owners were incredible as well. Had a few small issues while we were there that they jumped on quickly. Great and comfortable stay. We will most likely be back soon. Maybe next fall to see more of the manatees.

Highly highly recommend this amazing home. Everything was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The homeowners were great to deal with and answered all my questions prior to arrival.
The home itself was the perfect getaway for our family. We couldn’t get over how quiet and peaceful the property was. We LOVED having the canoes and kayaks to use and the kids were in the pool almost every moment.
We couldn’t have found a better place to stay.

We have a wonderfully relaxing time! The setting was so beautiful and we enjoyed all the wildlife. The pool was amazing and felt so refreshing because it was so hot. We tried fishing and crabbing but didn’t have any luck. To our surprise we saw a couple of manatees in the canal right off of the back of the house!

Very nice property. Somewhat secluded and very private feel. Beautiful natural Florida setting, close enough to Gulf beaches, attractions like snorkeling and swimming or site seeing Manatees abound.

Loved the peace and quiet, the house was very nice, clean, and had everything that you could need. The pool was very nice, clean and warm, loved it! The patio furniture was clean and comfortable. we were bothered by the no-See-Ums and gnats when out by the pool area. Pete and Joan gave us some bug repellent which helped ward off the bugs. One thing I feel I need to mention is, there should be grab bars in the showers. The bottom of the tub can be very slick when soapy. Pete and Joan were very helpful and quick to respond to our needs. We would highly recommend staying there. Ken & Bev S

Very clean. Great view of beautiful grounds, wildlife and the marsh/river. Out of the way and large lot made for a quiet stay.
Comfortable beds. Lots of activities - both outside and rainy day - games, puzzles, books, DVDs, horse shoes, bongo ball, fishing poles, coolers. Loved the heated screened in pool, dock and kayaks/canoes. We used the grill a couple times, which was great, but also the area restaurants - MacRae's, Old Mill Tavern, Museum Cafe, Crumps. Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park was certainly a highlight with lots of Manatees in season, as well as many other animals. Highly recommended!

The property was even more stunning than in the pictures on VRBO. The landscaping and home were beautiful, the screened in porches were fantastic! The pool was a big plus!! The home is a bit off the beaten path, providing peace and quiet, but was close enough to some nice restaurants, shopping and attractions. Would definitely book again 😊

The property was outstanding. Very private and secluded in the marsh-river area. We brought our boat and enjoyed the fishing. We saw lots of wildlife starting with deer at the time of our arrival. The house was nice and clean. The beds slept well. They even dropped off a fan so I could rest better. The pool and a beautiful view right out the back door. The only thing negative was the Roku TV service. It is internet streaming only, we have no streaming accounts, and we missed all our favorite shows. The local community has some unique shops and great restaurants. I am looking forward to a return visit.
