My familiy and I had a great time at this place. We enjoyed our stay there as a relaxing break between all the sightseeing tours.
It was a little bit complicated to get to the beach, but we rented a car so it took us about ten minutes to get to 'Akumal Beach'.
Even if you have no chance to get to the beach, there is a swimming pool where you can refresh and go swimming.

Very Nice place
Nice place to be calm. Not many guest. Host are really kind. The main bed is really comfortable but the two small bed are not suited for adult (not comfortable) A kid will not notice. The pool is really really nice, big deck, full of sun, two long chair. It's really close to Akumal Beach (turtles etc.) For Sure if I go in Quintana Roo next time, I'll book there.
PS. It's close enough from Tulum and Playa Del Carmen to be a nice starting point for almost any activities you want in the area. (If you have a Car)

Love it in the Jungle
This was the first time we booked a hotel away from the ocean and beach and it was just wonderful! The quietness in the 'jungle' as well as the clean room and amenities, made our 2 day stay perfect. The owners were very helpful with getting us checked in, fixing the door lock and introducing us to an awesome snorkelling mask that now makes me a 'snorkeler'. This 5 room/villa accommodation was just the perfect size. We had the opportunity to visit and have a few cocktails with people who were staying there anywhere from 5 weeks to 6 months. The location is just a few minutes off the main highway and short driving distance to Akumal, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and back to the airport in Cancun.

Excelente!
El mejor lugar para quedarse en Akumal, en ningún otro lugar encontraras la tranquilidad y el acercamiento con la naturaleza, es un paraiso!

This place was so perfect for us, we are already booked for next year.
If you are looking for a place that is a little off the beaten path, away from the hustle and bustle of the towns and resorts, somewhere you can just kick back and relax and still be within a very short distance from shopping, entertainment, cenotes and some of the best beaches anywhere, then this is the place for you. Dana and Fabian are the owners of this property and live here with their 2 children. We had the chance to see their interaction with many different guesst and note that they make everyone feel welcome. They are very happy to share their knowledge of the area and some of the more out-of-the-way places they themselves have found. We spent the entire winter here, and now consider them our 2nd family. The property is in the jungle, with very nice, clean, functional units. The beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning is more than adequate and the pool is a haven we spent many, many hours in. If you are adventuresome, the colectivo (Mexican transit) is a short walk away and will take you as far as Cancun to the north and Tulum to the south. It is a very easy means of transportation to use and always available within minutes.
So, if you are looking for luxury, this is the not the place for you. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe place that is very easy going and laid back, then you have found it.
