Tiverton is a place of interest with the history of the Heathcoat fabric factory, and John Heathcoat himself, lived in St. Peter Street, near to the town centre.
Tiverton is primarily a market town, with a market taking place every day and a car boot sale on the Sunday.
Near to there, Uplowman, where we're based is still very much a rural village, just 10 minutes drive from Tiverton. In the other direction, Bampton, is also a small town selling a lot of local produce from their fruit & veg and butcher's shops. Sampford Peverill, a 5-10 minute drive away has a farm shop, tennis courts, play area, and also the golf course and nearby railway station.
